A Call to Action – Tell Congress to Support and Pass the National Parent Helpline Act
On April 18, 2012, Senator Barbara Boxer along with Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Jeff Merkley and Richard Blumenthal introduced S. 2293, the National Parent Helpline Act. The bill will create a grants program to support a National Parent Helpline to provide our nation’s 149 million parents and caregivers with emotional support and empowerment strategies to strengthen families. Call your Senators and House Representatives and urge them to support S. 2293 and our nation’s parents, caregivers, children and youth. Click here for more information.
