On April 18, 2012, Senator Barbara Boxer along with Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Jeff Merkley and Richard Blumenthal introduced S. 2293, the National Parent Helpline Act. The bill will create a grants program to support a National Parent Helpline to provide our nation’s 149 million parents and caregivers with emotional support and empowerment strategies to strengthen families.
